Waitlist
Do you run big hardware?
If you have a large graphics card, several cards in one machine or a rig, tell us what you have. The answers are added up, and they help decide which large tiers the mainnet should offer.
Hardware only. The list asks for no name, no e-mail, no wallet address and no machine identifier.
Your machine
The total of one card, as nvidia-smi shows it, rounded to a whole number of GB. If the cards differ, add one answer per kind of card.
What the list is
- Purpose
- A count of the large machines operators run, to help size the large tiers of the mainnet.
- Not
- A registration, a reservation or a promise. It carries no rewards and gives no place in any queue.
- Contact
- Nobody on the list is contacted. Results and decisions are posted as announcements on Discord and X.
- Stored
- One tick in a count for each answer, by kind of card, band of memory and band of card number. The exact figures you type are dropped.
Not sure what your machine counts as? Check it on the hardware page first.
What is kept, and what is not
- Kept: a total, and one count for each combination of kind of card, band of video memory and band of card number.
- Not kept: your name, an e-mail address, a wallet address, a machine identifier, an account, a cookie, your IP address, or the exact numbers you typed.
- Rate limit: the service limits how many answers it takes a minute and a day in all, not per person, because limiting per person would need something that identifies you.
- One answer per machine: the service cannot tell two answers from one person apart from two people, so a repeated answer is counted twice.
The site is served by a hosting service that sees requests, as it does for every page of this site. The list stores none of that.
The counts are approximate. Two answers that arrive close together can be recorded as one, because the storage can serve an older copy for a short time. So a count is a floor, and the limit per minute is approximate too.
